I have long been an admirer of cork, for its warmth, tactility and environmental credentials. It’s harvested every nine years without the tree being cut down making it highly sustainable and renewable.

The Stopper Light is a continuation of looking for ways to use this material in more domestic and commercial settings.
Taking visual cues from wine bottle stoppers, the simple and inviting form is intuitive to use in a wide range of settings. The lamp has a removable opal glass shade and touch sensitive dimple for turning it on and off and selecting the light amount.
